Well, it's weirdness time at the Love Grotto.
They came and took our counter tops away - the ones that didn't work - but they haven't brought the new ones yet.
No sink, no faucet - the other side of the kitchen looks even weirder, with the stove sitting out by itself. You can stare down into the drawers and just get what you want without having to open them.
So our kitchen functionality is a bit....dialed back, just now. That wouldn't be so bad, except for the fact that we have rented out our condo next week, and we're going to be spending that week skiing in northern New Mexico and in other parts of Colorado. So Ethel doesn't want us to buy any more food here in Purg, and we're eating up what we have left.
So, with no real counter tops, and a....limited selection of ingredients, things are getting creative.
Today's lunch was Hot Dog Whole Wheat Quesadillas...
...and Pringles.
Yep - those are whole-wheat tortillas with chopped-up hot dogs and chedder cheese melted inside. And they were pretty good, too.
You will not find this at your local Yuppie Fresh Mex franchise.
