Pebble Sheened

This morning, the nice people came and sprayed the pool with PebbleSheen .

It's gorgeous. The colors of the pool - the travertine pavers, the green tile, the Desert Gold pebble sheen - perfectly reflect the color scheme of the Sonoran Desert.

Tomorrow morning, they'll come out and grind it (whatever that means) and acid-wash it, and then - around 10 AM - the trucks start arriving, bringing out the 14,900 gallons of water to fill it up (we're on a shared well, so we're not about to drain that well to fill this pool. This would NOT make for happy neighbors :)

So we'll have a pool full of water for the weekend - but the pool people won't be back until Monday to show us how to run the pumps. This means that we won't be running the filters, we can't run the waterfall, and we won't be pushing the water through the solar panels, until next week.

This is okay with Ethel - which is weird; it's her pool, but I'm the one in a hurry to see it do stuff : )
