Ikey Ookey A - Ukey
I think I've found my ukelele.
We found a Kala Malaka tenor this evening in Waimanalo - Ethel said that she liked the tone. When I got home, I found that the price in the store was the same as the Amazon price, so there's no reason not to pick it up here (okay, it was one dollar more, but I can live with that).
This was after going to Hanauma bay to snorkle this morning - and finding out that the southern swells were making the water too cloudy to see, and that the snorkling has been better on the North Shore (Three Tables is great) - then Ethel and Silas went to Sea Life Park (seen in the movie "50 First Dates") and decided that it was overpriced and too small (this while I was on the beach across the street, working on my tan) then snorkling in Waimanalo Bay (saw either 6 or 7 sea turtles) -

(this is a stock photo - Silas has an underwater camera, but we haven't figured it out yet) - they are very calm.
Ethel and Silas were beachcombing for sea glass - this was followed by the drive home, wherein we stopped at the ukulele store.
Now I just have to wheedle Ethel for the necessary to get the ukulele.
