The Jackson Puckett Ugly Baby Diet
Here's that ugly baby, Jackson David Puckett, again...
I'm thinking that we could make a diet book out of nothing but pictures of the Ugly Baby. Whenever anybody gets hungry, they could just look at this ugly baby, and lose their appetite right away - sort of like the low-carb fad, only without the low carb. You simply wouldn't be able to eat - or, if you DID eat before you saw this baby, you wouldn't be able to keep the food down (a new idea - Ugly Baby Bulimics :)
This picture is actually about two weeks old; he's at least ten days uglier than that by now. We saw him this last Saturday, when we went down to Glendale to watch the Alabama Spring Game on ESPN (we couldn't watch it at home, as our cable is turned off until next football season)
Jackson David Puckett will be moving (along with his parents) into a new home; after renting for 2.5 years in Phoenix, Floyd is buying a house. And not just "a house", but THREE THOUSAND EIGHT HUNDRED AND THIRTY SQUARE FEET of McMansion, out in the Crossriver subdivision at the west end of Happy Valley.
Now, one might ask why three people - none of whom is very tall - would need nearly four thousand square feet of house. But, when you realize that one of the people is as ugly as little Jax, it's obvious - you wouldn't want to come across a baby this ugly by surprise. You'd want to have a nice, long way to walk to see him, to give yourself time to prepare yourself for the shock that only a baby as ugly as Jackson can deliver. In addition, you need to have a lot of air volume to disperse the ugly baby smells.
Besides, these days, it's a great time to buy your own Wal-Mart-sized place to live in; David isn't paying much more for that mausoleum than I paid for a little bitty house, in Tucson, fourteen years ago - and he's getting a MUCH better interest rate.
At any rate, we're really, really glad that Floyd/David is buying a house and settling down right here in the Valley of the Sun, even if he is going to keep the Ugly Baby with him. After all, he might have other children - PRETTY children :)
That baby's ears are just like yours! So are you now going to be known as "Ugly Fat Charlie"?
I think he's adorable. Too bad you don't like him much :-)

That's the funny thing about it - people are completely capable of saying "Gee, that baby looks like you!" and then they say "Why do you say that he's an ugly baby?"
People aren't real bright, are they?

I have to say that this is a very nice picture of Jax and his Paw Paw! I'm still of the belief that he isn't in any way an "ugly baby", actually I believe he is a very attractive one. Dave keeps remindingm me that we could be biased!:)I don't think so though!

If you thought so, then it wouldn't be "bias".
Darlin', your chromosomes force you to believe that he's pretty, so that you won't drown him at birth; that's what Dave is alive (although it was a close thing).
When they turn 14 or so, suddenly your chromosomes tell you, instead, that they are Satan's Spawn, so that you'll push 'em out of the nest (except Silas is such a sweetie that it's hard to do that).
