Cletus the Fetus
This is my grandson, Cletus the Fetus....

...at least, that's what Floyd calls him.
Cletus is currently -4 months old - he's due in November. This is a 3D picture of his head (I'm assuming that that is his head. They got a lot of 3D pictures of this and that, but I'm not quite as convinced as they are about the proper taxonomy of all of Cletus' pieces). I'm hoping that his face firms up a good bit by the time he's born - of course, if I spend much time outside in July in Arizona, I start looking a lot like Cletus.
As you can see, Cletus already has a lot of worries. You can tell this because he's holding his forehead. Of course, it may be that Cletus is just being overly dramatic (he may get that from his mother's side of the family). I will say that that nose already looks Puckettish.
You have to wonder what that's like - taking a nap for nine months. Perfect temperature, never hungry, never sleepy, never tired - and then, suddenly, your whole world gets CONTRACTED; you get squeezed periodically for hours, and then get shoved out into the cold and bright lights and somebody slaps you.
It's sort of like graduating from college, I suspect, except that while you were in school you knew that graduation was coming (or, at least, you had hopes) - poor little Cletus has no idea what's waiting for him.
He'll be born in Phoenix in November, and once he gets over the shock of birth and adjusts to all of the strangeness of living in the outer world - guess what, Cletus? Summer's coming!

Lyndsi is due September 7th. She might get a 3D. They are naming him Drake Scott. GREAT SCOTT!! what a name! :)
